Summary
This document covers the steps to update the MokaFive server with an updated release of Java.

Pre-Requisites

• Windows 20008 R2 Server

• Java 7 32-bit installer

Steps
Upgrading from Java 6 32-bit to Java 7 32-bit on an existing MokaFive server

1. On the MokaFive server, stop the M5ES service.

2. Wait for the M5ES service to stop completely.

3. Uninstall Java 6.

4. Reboot the MokaFive server.

5. Launch the Java 7-32 bit installer to install Java 7. (Reboot if requested by the java installer)

6. Run the MokaFive server installer (again) to upgrade the server to the new path of Java.

Upgrading from an older update of Java 7 32-bit to a later update of Java 7 32-bit on an existing MokaFive server

1. On the MokaFive server, stop the M5ES service.

2. Wait for the M5ES service to stop completely.

3. Launch the Java 7-32 bit installer to upgrade Java 7. (Reboot if requested by the java installer)

4. Run the MokaFive server installer (again) to upgrade the server to the new path of Java.
