Network Assumptions for Moka5 Configuration   « Go Back

Network and Authentication

Assumptions before you begin:
  • AD and DNS is configured and working properly internally
  • If endpoints will exist both in and outside of the corporate network - Split DNS will need to be configured externally to resolve to the management server’s FQDN listed below (M5console.company.com)
  • If endpoints will exist both in and outside of the corporate network – A Desktop Application Gateway Server is put into DMZ outside of the firewall – with the DNS record for Management Server name outside (M5console.company.com)
  • Port 443 is open from the outside
DMZ Example: The below IP address is pointing to Desktop Application Gateway from outside of the network

Please note: Firewall and external DNS settings will vary and may be setup differently usually by a staff member of your company with network experience and access. Please refer to Moka5 documentation for additional information and detail
