Best Practices for Uninstalling Moka5 Player   « Go Back
The Moka5 Player can leave extraneous content on a host machine after incomplete installations, upgrades, or uninstallations. Antivirus software can also partially block Player installation, leaving incomplete files and registry keys on your host. This can cause upgrade issues in later editions of Player, as well as taking up needed space on your hard drive.

Users with this problem who are trying to upgrade or reinstall their Players may see messages that “Some bundled software did not install correctly,” “Installing VMware failed,” or repetitive “Update now” prompts.

When you uninstall the Moka5 Player, we recommend that you take extra steps to ensure a complete uninstallation. In the cases mentioned above, Moka5 Player files and registry keys have to be deleted manually.
