Access the client advanced settings dialog box   « Go Back

Summary
In the course of debugging or working around an issue, MokaFive Support may ask you to enable the client's Advanced Settings dialog.

Steps

  1. Go to the MokaFive Management Console and look up what group your user is in

  2. Under Policies > Player Policies > Custom Tab.

  3. Choose the user's group. Groups are ranked on the left hand dialog pane. Policy is driven by first one wins. Thus, if the user is in more than one group, the user will get their policies from the group that is higher ranked.

  4. On the right hand pane: Scroll down to 'User Control' policies

  5. Set the 'Allow user to access the debugging panel' policy to 'ENABLE'

  6. Have the user 'Check for Updates' from their MokaFive Player dialog or wait for the next 'check-in' cycle.

  7. Once the Player 'checks-in', open the MokaFive Advance debugging options by making sure the MokaFive Player is the "Active" window. This means the MokaFive logo on the Player will be colored.

    1. On Windows: Press CTRL+F8 or run C:\Program Files (x86)\MokaFive\Engine\bin\ M5optwindow.exe

    2. On Mac: Press FN+Command+F8 or in terminal run /Applications/MokaFive\ Player.app/Contents/MacOS/m5optwindow
