How to Share a LivePC

Sharing a LivePC that you create from scratch involves a few simple steps. For more thorough instructions please see our LivePC Creator Guide.
Step 1: Click on the 'Create' button in the LivePC Engine™.
Step 2: Set parameters in the 'Create LivePC' window and then click on the 'Create LivePC' button.
Step 3: Click on newly created LivePC in the moka5 Engine.
Your new empty LivePC appears in LivePC Engine menu. Clicking on it will let you add an OS and applications.
Step 4: Add your OS and applications.
Start adding your operating system (if it is a new LivePC) by putting the OS CD in the host PC. Add other applications via download or CD to build your LivePC. Follow the same steps you would for a new machine. You can add applications to match your existing desktop or create a new custom environment.
Step 5: Package and upload your LivePC.
Once done adding an operating system and applications to the LivePC, go to the LivePC Engine, click on the pencil icon for your LivePC to open its properties window. Click on the 'Show Advanced' arrows to fully open the properties. Click 'Package this LivePC to upload online'.
You can host the LivePC at moka5 by creating an account at moka5.com. You may keep your LivePC private or share it by choosing whether to display it publicly. If this is a completely new LivePC you should select 'Deep copy' for the package type. 'Shallow copy' is recommended for modifications to existing LivePCs.
Enter your moka5 username and password and click OK to upload it to the moka5 LivePC Library.
Step 6: Subscribe to your LivePC.
Click on 'Library' in the moka5 Engine to open a browser to the LivePC Library at moka5.com. If your LivePC is public you can find it under 'Public LivePCs' otherwise you can login to find it under 'My LivePCs'.
You can delete your local copy of your LivePC image. By subscribing you are assured all the protections of a hosted LivePC with automatic cleanup of any spyware or viruses.
Step 7: Update your LivePC.
To update your LivePC, go to the LivePC Engine and click on 'Let me make changes to this LivePC' in the properties window. Start at Step 4 again.
