moka5

is moka5 dead or dying?

When I found Moka5 and tried out the bare metal version it was like finding a rare gem in a bag of coal.

So it saddens me to see "dead" forums, I know (hope) you guys are too busy making moka5 even greater but when the newest forum post is a week old it appears this great project is dying out.

Even the blog5 is a month old, hopefully you guys are all on holiday or something, but a living forum tells new comers that this is a project worth using even before they try it out. A small post with an update of whats going on would be nice.

Anyways - thanks for moka5 especially the bare metal version. It is exactly what I have been looking for. Its an idea I've had for a while and as I'm not a linux guru my attempts where limited to a usb hard drive with a modified install of xp pro running vmware server. It worked but too much overhead running xp as well as virtual machines. Plus the driver issue when booting from very different hardware...

April Fools ;-)?

April Fools ;-)?

Believe me, we are very much alive! We've all been heads down working on the next release. We've burned a lot of midnight oil working on a user interface revamp and some major new features. We also have some cool new LivePC content that is a lot of fun. We are very close to our next release; it will most likely happen within a week. We are also making a major push to clean up and stabilize the product to go from our beta version to a final 1.0 edition. So stay tuned! And I promise we'll update the blog more often :-).
