How to import Local LivePc(on DeskTop) Into USB?
Good Day and Hello!!
I have installed DSL and presently using it from my USB. Everythings Great. I have also installed win xp livepc(my local desktop hard disk install) using xpfromcd. everything went beautifull and i got a vertual xp on xp in 10mints flat. eveything runs freat. please note both the installs that iam using thats dsl and xp live pc are independent of each other and both have there base moka engines.
Now iam planning to get a 8Gb hard disk. what i want to know is how do i import (what are the files and directories) that i should get into my USB and put them where? so that my created xp is now along side my dsl.
iam also planning to get Ubantu on my desktop tonight. once i get it up and running on my desktop how do i move a copy of it to my usb, what files and what would be the destination directories that i should be using on the USB.
Any help would be greately appricited.
before i end this up...a zillion thanks for all the hardworking folks who have been working on this amazing, insanely and hyper brilliant project. this thingi is really fantastic and rocks like crazy. I would recommend this to all my colegues and friends who badly want to get onto linux without switching of their XPs....

Sync between USB and HDD
Hi Gk..,
thanks for the reply...though hosting the live PC is my next step...but before doing that i want to get my live PC(win xp and ubantu) which are in my hard disk to my 8GB USB. with out undergoing all the trouble of uploading such big files and Downloading again. YOu know Download speeds are very low here at my place ...i kept ubantu for Downlaod a day back and its still doing 83%. so uploading will be planned on a weeks holiday.
Can you please tell me how to get xp and ubantu frm my hardddisk to my 8GB usB. please note 8GB allready has DSL. And HDD and USB Have separate Moka engines and are autonoumous.
Reply Awaited,
Regards,
Here is some documentation
Here is some documentation on location of files, etc. Transfering from host to USB.
The challenge is whether the cache file will fit on the USB or not. The cache is where the Downloaded LivePCs are stored.

How to import Local LivePc(on DeskTop) Into USB?
Hi. Thanks for the kind words!
You can publish the LivePCs that you've created and subscribe to them from the new drive (first install the LivePC Engine on the new usb drive). That way, all your usb drives will be in sync.
If you'd like information on publishing, check out publishing instructions. That content is a little out of date with regard to hosting. If you want moka5 to host your LivePC, check out our hosting survey.
Regarding an Ubuntu LivePC, maybe the document about optimizing a new Linux LivePC will be useful.
Hope this helps,
