How would I go about making the livepc see my other local hard drives? Can that be done in the config? If so could someone please walk me through it?

You can use any technique that you would use to share files between two different computers, e.g. put the files on a shared drive.
You could also use vmware guest tools to drag and drop documents between the host and guest.

Also, does the LivePC have "LivePC documents" enabled? That allows you to share documents between a LivePC and the host, contrasted with "My Shared LivePC Documents" which allows you to share documents between multiple LivePCs and the host.

like the last poster said: use network sharing, find out your hosts IP something like 192.168.1.100 and from inside your guest livepc do a mapping to i.e. \\192.168.1.100\c$ to access your host pcs c: drive

c$ is the administrative share, enabled by default on windows pcs but you would need to know your admin password of the host pc.
