Program Unexpectedly Terminates
I installed the LivePC Player on a new Windows XP laptop and am having problems. After program initialization, it tries to download the default DSL image, but the application unexpectedly exits with the following message being reported in the Windows Event Viewer.
"Faulting application appmgr.exe, version 0.12.5732.0, faulting module nvoglnt.dll, version 6.14.10.8313, fault address 0x0015b6f2."
This appears once as well:
"Fault bucket 326512139."
Which video chip do you have?
Raj - can you confirm which video chip you have? It looks like the D620 has a few options, and Dell sometimes upgrades the hardware specs without changing the model number. From the Dell website I'm guessing that you have the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M.
Our 0.12 release has had trouble with some video cards. We've solved many of those issues and would like to verify that the fixes will solve your problem.
A little research and I
A little research and I figured out that the dll that seems to not jive, technically speaking of course, is an NVIDIA related OpenGL dll on my shiny new Dell D620. It's consistent on the same file.
