Starting a LivePC may take a while on the first launch. Up to a minute.
Intermittent message about VMware Player has stopped working may occur. Close LivePC Engine and Start it again.

The installation issues should no longer exist with LivePC Engine 1.0.9387 and later.

Will LivePC Engine work on Vista?
The LivePC Engine 1.0.7695 will work with a minor change. See Vista Workaround.
Error opening installation log occurs with USB

You may see warnings during installation about unsigned drivers. Those can be ignored, and the drivers should be installed.
Unsuccessful installation with VMware Player.msi returned -1
Installing 1.0.7695 to the Desktop's harddisk will result in an error of "Unsuccessful installation with -1. See Vista Workaround.
Vista workaround
- Start a command shell (Click on the Start button, In "Start Search", enter "cmd")
- Enter "mkdir AppData\Temp"
Now run the LivePC Engine installer or start the Engine from USB again.
Sample batch file for Vista and USB:

Known Limitation
We recommend installing VMware Workstation 6.0 beta for a Vista.
