xpfromcp first bootup error after install
Hi Moka5 Team,
I am getting the follow error when the new LivePC XPPRO system boots up for the first time. "Failed to connect to host files: WNetAddConnection2W: No Network provider accepted the given network path." I have tried this installation from two different PC and two different LivePC Engines. Help
Thanks.
VMware Network Adapter VMnet8" network driver fails to load
Hi Kevin,
I am using the VMware Player download from your site. I did notice last night that on a XP LivePC I built a few days ago is now giving me the same error on boot up. Once the LivePC is up and running, the Network Adapter states that it has limit functionality. I have tried deleting it in the LivePC and rebooting, but it comes back with the same error.
I will try down loading a new copy of the LivePC Engine and xpfromcd and try again. I will let you know.
Greg
So far, i've only seen this
So far, i've only seen this error when the "VMware Network Adapter VMnet8" network driver fails to load or is disabled. Does it show in the "Network Connections" and if so is it enabled? Are you using the VMware Player included with the LivePC Engine or your own installed version?
