xpfromcd fails to download vm.vmx
Hi
I've been using downloaded LivePCs from the moka5 server successfully on my Dell XPS1210 to date (it 46Gb free).
However, I tried to use the lateset XPFROMCD tool (xpfromcd-1.0.7498) with NLITE 1.3 RC2 following the "Putting Windows On A Diet II" article. The NLITE image created fine, and I started running xpfromcd as instructed in the Quick Steps.
However, the exeuction of the script returns:
timeout: waiting 180 seconds for 'vm.vmx file to be downloaded'

An error has occurred. Please contact moka5 support forum by
visiting http://www.moka5.com/forum/2 and also including below
error message:
Please check you are connected to Internet.
Timed out waiting for download: 'C:\Documents and Settings\Virtual\Application
ata\moka5\Engine\xpfromcd\original\vm.vmx'
I am actually connected to the internet, and have turned off Norton Internet Security 2006, which makes no difference (same error), so I really can't connect to the internet from xptocd.
I've tried pulling the data from the moka5 server (e.g. subscribing to it) but I cannot get past this step.
Is there any issue with xpfromcd at present? I've also tried this with build xpfromcd-1.0.7063 and get the same result. The only thing that gets created or downloaded is livepc-logo_92.png.
For the record, I am installing Windows XP w/ SP2 from the Microsoft UK Action Pack Subscription (10 licenses) so I cannot imagine that this is the issue.
Anyone have an idea what's going on?

Found The Solution
Silly me - I'd turned off the Network File Sharing (for an entirely different matter - trying to lock down my PC for security purposes) and this causes the misleading error to occur
May I make a suggestion that this point be added to the "Putting Windows On A Diet II" article so that others don't make the same error as I did
Thanks
John Lawrence
