Have you tried to use a different temporary directory location?

Hi Chaitanya,

Thank you for reporting this problem.

Please one of the following approaches:

1, rename the directory C:\Temp\FILES to something else

2, specify a different temporary, maybe on a different drive

3, If neither approach works, please let me know what filesystem (NTFS or FAT32) your system is on, also, right click on the 'Install'

I hope this is helpful. Thank you for trying out the LivePC Engine and let us know if you have any further quetsions / feedback for us.

Thanks,
-Gerald

please help provide more information

Hi Chaitanya,

Sorry about the late reply it was Thanksgiving week in US last week.

I have an idea why this is happening but I am not 100% sure, could you please help me by sending me a screenshot?

1. in Windows Explorer, go to D:\chai\FILES\I386\

2. right click and click properties

3. use the keystroke "Alt-PrintScreen" to get the screenshot, open up 'Paint' and paste it in there.

4. if there is a 'security' tab, please also click on that and get a screenshot of that

5. Save the screenshots and send to us at [email protected]

This would help confirm the reason for why this error is happening...

Thanks,
-Gerald

PS. Just in case you are curious, I suspect that the directory has read-only attribute turned on after the copy...
