What's New with the Fearless Browser
I've been using the Fearless Browser LivePC to keep my private web browsing profile with me at all times. It's been pretty useful for managing my bank accounts online from PCs at work and at my friends apartments. I just leave all my passwords stored in it so that I don't have to go through so much hassle everytime I want to use one of the premium services I subscribe to on the net.
You guys had some great ideas on the forums and I've incorporated them into the newest revision, which you probably already have! :-) The system uses OpenDNS servers which automatically identifies phishing sites that rely on mistyped domain names. And...the beta of Flash 9 is installed so that you can use all the fun interactive sites out there. I love this classic microwave fun and this puzzling oddity, but all the new snazzy stuff should work too!
For the more *nix-inclined, there is now an ssh client so that you can use remote shell accounts from the LivePC. It is accessible by right clicking the background and bringing up a terminal window.
Glad to have OpenDNS as an option for LivePC
John Roberts from OpenDNS here... glad to see LivePC make OpenDNS part of the Fearless Browser experience. That's a nice surprise!
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about OpenDNS, and let us know how we can improve our DNS service further.
