xpfromcd problem
The following command fails when attempting to create a LivePC using an XP CD with the xpfromcd tool. I tried this 2 times with the same error--each time it indicated I post the command causing the error to the forum. By running that command separately, here is the output, which contains more info that I saw initially reported:
C:\xpfromcd-1.0.7063\xpfromcd\bin>.\mkisofs.exe -relaxed-filenames -d -D -N -J -
no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -b boot.img -o "c:\Temp\xpcd.iso" -V "WXPVOL_EN"
"c:\Temp\FILES"

It is highly recommended to add Rock Ridge
Using BOOT000.CAT for /boot.catalog (boot.catalog)

CD info
Hi Gerald,
I was using XPSP2 with a corporate volume license key rather than retail. It may have been slipstreamed--I can't tell for certain. It is English. However, I don't have SATA drives, so I definitely wouldn't have added that into the CD intentionally.

This is a known problem with certain install CDs
Hi Kibblesnbits,
Sorry about the inconvenience. Could you please let me know which Windows Installation CD you are using? Specifically:
Windows version, SP version:
Language:
Licensing:
Other special note?
For example, I am seeing the same problem with an Install CD with special Intel SATA driver in-house here. I wish to figure out whether it is the same problem.
If it is the same problem, I do not have a resolution at this very moment but at least I can investigate and find one... I will let you know when I find a resolution for this...
Thank you for trying the LivePC Engine and I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks,
-Gerald
