no access to My LivePC Documents in the new VMWorld-fearless browser?

hi forum

the new VMWorld-fearless browser is excellently equipped. yet I've three questions:

(1) I wonder how to get access to My LivePC Documents, I've tried very hard to find it out - in vain. that's an important point for me.

(2) the way to get the VMWorld-fearless browser seems strange. apparently it is only possible by starting first 'fearlessbrowserrc1.lpc'.

(3) and it's impossible for me to adjust the time zone.

Fearless Browser (VMWorld)

Fearless Browser (VMWorld) uses /home/me/Desktop to redirect user files. Starting with 1.0.11226, to access user files, select the tool icon, Browse Documents Folder.

Fearless Browser (VMWorld) will be the default LivePC during new installations.

I'll need to investigate the timezone.

Kevin

no bridge to the outer world?

thank you, kevin

ok, user files are on the desktop, but so they remain inside the VMWorld. is there no longer a way out to the host (apart from email)? - best wadi

Hi Wadi, Are you running

Hi Wadi,

Are you running moka5 Engine as Administrator? Also did you get a warning about enabling Windows File Sharing?

The User Files allows the /home/me/Desktop (applies to Fearless (VMworld specifically) to be shared inside the LivePC to the Host.

User Files requires the Network to be in NAT mode. Bridge mode is not supported with User Files.
Windows File Sharing must be enabled on the Host.

If no warning occurred and the Network interface was not changed, open terminal window inside Fearless
type "mount" and there should be and similar entry of
//192.168.247.1/xxxxxxx$ on /home/me/Desktop

Also if you can provide a support log, this may provide additional information about the user file issue.

Press Ctrl-Shift-F1 the Engine User Interface to create the support zip file.

Kevin

great

thank you, kevin, I'd overlooked that - best wadi
