Moka5 will not start

Hi all. I've sucessfully installed Moka5 on a Cruzer micro usb drive but I cannot get it to start. I get the following error when I try to start up the engine.

"An unexpected error occurred while starting the moka5 engine. the file exists, (error code 2147942980)"

I'm running the following setup on Vista Enterprise (I've also got VMware workstation 6 installed.

lpc_engine_version=1.0.11226
[vmware]
vmplayer_version=2.0.0.45731

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For Vista, are you using the

For Vista, are you using the Run As Administrator option when starting m5launch.exe? Also by any chance, did Vista report the program name? Additional information may show in the Vista's Application Event log.

Hi Kevin. I am using the "run as administrator" when I get the error when I run m5launch.exe in the root of the key. Funny thing is that when I run ..\moka5\Program Files\moka5\Engine\bin\m5engine.exe directly from the bin folder Moka5 engine does start up, but I get a different set of LivePCs than when I run Moka5 from an XP machine.

The Desktop and USB shared

The Desktop and USB shared some common program binaries. The USB has the m5launch.exe which will help provide the drive letter mapping as well. Running just the m5engine.exe results in different LivePCs since it will the user's profiles' list of LivePCs vs the list stored on the usb.

Can you provide a little more background.
1. Was there ever a Desktop installation prior to 11226?. What version is currently installed for the Desktop if any?
2. Was the USB an upgrade from a previous version?
3. Does the USB m5launch if all other instances of m5engine are closed?
4. When you start the USB, was another local user still logged into to Vista (aka Fast User Switching)?
