how can I get the german keyboard?

hello forum
concerning fearless browser (in windows xp prof) it would be fine for me to have the german keyboard. I've activated 'let me make changes to this livepc' and I've enabled share folders. then I tried several operations:
(1) the keyboard exists in usr/share/keymaps/i386/quertz/de.map.gz. but I could not activate it.
(2) in terminal I've run 'sudo loadkeys de' - without effect.
(3) I've extracted 'xmodmap.de.bz2' and have renamed it to 'keyboard.xmodmap' and loaded into the share folder - without effect.
(4) I've opened etc/conf.d/keymaps and tried to insert the command 'sudo loadkeys de' at the beginning of the script, but I could not change anything.
some idea what is going wrong? thank you for help. - wadi

fearless browser update

hi wadi,
i updated fearless browser and there should now be a flag at the bottom right hand corner which you can click to cycle through the available languages.
there is no button for choosing keyboards

sorry - in the fearless browser update (new installation!) right hand at the bottom there is the tor button and shutdown, nothing else - or have I misunderstood something? - wadi

Hi Wadi,
The actually changes all went into a new Fearless Browser which is available http://www.moka5.com/node/1325 This version has the keyboard layout support for German, French, Italy.
It's under debate whether this LivePC will be be left alone or also upgraded. Let us know if you like the new Fearless or if you like this one better.

thank you for your tip. I'm really glad about this excellently equipped VMWorld-fearless browser. congratulations. you should absolutely continue on this line of development. - three questions:
(1) I wonder how to get access to My LivePC Documents, I've tried very hard to find it out - in vain. that's an important point for me.
(2) the way to get the VMWorld-fearless browser seems strange. apparently it is only possible by starting first 'fearlessbrowserrc1.lpc'.
(3) and it's impossible for me to adjust the time zone.
