Seeking Clarification: Virtual PC Capabalities

Ok, first up I'd like to say AWESOME programme guys.
Now, before I charge ahead and doing anything I might regret tomorrow, I'd like some clarification as I could not find the answers I was looking for in the forum or FAQ.
1) The big question: Does this run on Linux (eg: Ubuntu 7.04)
2) Now, I am quite into my gaming and I would love to satisfy my urge to use Linux and that of my gaming however as things stand, I cant play most games natively (wine etc). If the answer to question 1 was YES then if I were to run a Windows SP2 LivePC in Linux, would it (assuming I had the drivers installed in Linux for my card) be capable of hardware acceleration. (I have a modest set-up AMD Athlon 2.2GHz, nVIDIA 7600GT 512mb, 1.5gb Ram).
I know the answer I want to hear, but is it the truth?

We have a bare-metal version but that doesn't support any 3D games yet.
