Visual Index to the moka5 Engine
The moka5 Engine main window provides access to a number of different option windows and provides information on the status of your LivePCs. Hovering over items on the moka5 Engine window will open a tool tip with more information. Below are the windows of the moka5 Engine and links to the section of the manual that covers the features in more detail.

Clicking on '–' minimizes the moka5 Engine. Clicking on '?' opens online documentation. Clicking on 'X' closes the moka5 Engine.

- The green bar on the left displays the download (buffering or caching) status of the LivePC. Clicking on the bar will switch the LivePC to actively download that LivePC.
- The icon for the LivePC.
- The name of the LivePC is at the top, in this case 'Fearless Browser'. Double-clicking on the name of the LivePC opens a window that includes details of the LivePC.
- Below the LivePC name is a text description of its status, in this case 'suspended'.
- The play button icon is used to start and stop the LivePC. It displays different states. Here it is a green circle with three overlapping triangles inside and shows that the LivePC is fully cached and ready to start.
- The trash can is used to delete the LivePC from your computer or removable device.
- The 'Revert' icon is used to restart a suspended LivePC in a fresh state.
- The folder icon opens the directory of documents you've saved in this LivePC.
- The pencil icon opens the properties window for the LivePC as described below.

- 'My Shared LivePC Documents': Opens the folder of documents you can share between your different LivePCs (details).
- 'Configure Backup' allows you to set backup options for your LivePCs and the Engine. Alternatively it will display the current backup status (details).
- 'Library': This open the public LivePC Library in a browser window (details).
- 'Create': This creates a default LivePC configuration (details).
- 'Import': This imports in a LiveCD/LiveDVD from an ISO image and allows conversion of a Virtual Machine into a LivePC (details).

If you install more LivePCs than can be displayed in the window on your screen, scroll arrows will appear at the top and bottom of the moka5 Engine window:
Properties of a LivePC
By clicking on the pencil for a LivePC, a window will open with properties that can be set for that individual LivePC.
- 'Let me use this LivePC offline': This allows usage of the LivePC without Internet access. (details)
- 'Let me make changes to this LivePC': This allows you to customize your version of the LivePC. When this box is checked, you will not receive new versions of the LivePC when they are made available. (details)
- 'Send to a friend': This allows you to notify a friend via email about a particular LivePC. (details)
- 'Show Advanced': Opens the advanced portion of the window as seen below.
- 'Discuss': This provides a link to the LivePC on the Community Portal where you can post comments (details).
Advanced Properties of a LivePC
By clicking on the 'Show Advanced' downward facing arrows in the LivePC properties window the window will extend to show:
- 'Package this LivePC to upload online': This creates a LivePC package which can be posted onto a server (details).
- 'Edit LivePC Configuration...': Use this command to change the configurations of the virtual machine, including changing the disk size, memory size, network MAC address (details).
- 'Allow Access to My Shared LivePC Documents': This enables file sharing between multiple LivePCs and the host (details).
- 'Automatically start this LivePC': This automatically starts the LivePC when the moka5 Engine starts (details).
- 'Hide Advanced': Closes the advanced portion of the window.
