Typically the path is C:\DOCUME~1\%userprofile%\LOCALS~1\Temp Since DOCUME~2 is the path, what is DOCUME~1? dir "c:\Documen*" /X should tell us both the short and long names. For USB launches, we use this temp path so it may have so this could be part of the problem (just a guess for now). What Windows host OS version are you using? 2. Can you click on the m5usb.exe manually? The expected message should be "internal error". 3. What is your user's profile %TEMP% and %TMP% folders set to? echo %TEMP% and echo %TMP% at a command window will show. 4. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing to the usb? There should be a m5uninstall.exe at the root of the drive letter.
