The reversion problem was fixed with your instructions. The laptops have 4GB of ram. They are Dell D620s with 100GB hard drives. The open files thing does appear out of the blue, and when the error pops up there is no way to to get to the moka5 desktop. You can't even close the popup. when you click on close/cancel, it just pops up again. The only way to shutdown the laptop or even start using it again is to just hit the power button and hard boot the whole thing. The two biggest problems are the aformentioned XML/too many open files popup and the loss of access to the VM if you minimize it. A little quirk is that it doesn't autosize correctly if you hit full screen, but thats more of an annoyance. Quirk number 2 is that the alt-tab doesn't show the VM names and you have to flip between them multiple times to find the one you want. Ken

For imported Virtual Machines the disconnected does not make any difference. 4 vms, no subscription

I have imported 4 vms into the baremetal edition. 2 windows and 2 Centos. 1 domain controller 1 exchange Server 1 Linux Client 1 Linux host running 2 NetApp Filer simulators inside it I then modified the config file adding some descriptive text. None of them are actually subscribed. I have the following configuration: Enabled: Let me use this LivePC while disconnected disabled: Let the subscription automatically update this LivePC Enabled: Let me Make My own changes to this LivePC I Have 9 laptops exact same configuration and all of them are having the same problem with xml errors and too many open file errors, and the inability to revert back to the imported image. I am running all 4 VMS at the same time.

How many VMs do you have in baremetal? Are all the LivePCs working that are subscribed? Each livePC has an xml file associated with it i'm curious if a bad xml is causing this issue to occur. Kevin

getting a few catastrophic errors in the baremetal edition. After using the VMs for awhile we start getting error messages about not being able to open xml files. and too many files are open. has anyone seen this? if so how did you fix it? Thanks.
