It boots OK, I see the moka5 window with the progress bar running. Sometimes, more regularly now, when the progress bar gets to the end the window swaps to an X Window screen with just the arrow cursor in the middle, and then after about 20 seconds the screen returns to the startup screen and then just sits there. If I rightclick the mouse when in the X Windows screen I get the small menu to open an xterm, but even with this open the xwindows is stopped and the startup screen returns. The problem is that without this I can not get to the hard disk to remove the file you mentioned. The real problem is that in the install for either the windows or the linux bare metal are you asked if you are behind a proxy. If it did this on install it would mean that I would not have to possibly screw up the install. I will start again from scratch and see if I get any further. BTW. If it does come up, will I have to create the /cache/user/env directory and put in the http_proxy file? It boots and on one occasion I managed to get the normal application screen. I am behind a firewall so I created the env directory under /cache/user and then added a file http_proxy with the values of proxy.xxx.xx.com:port and then rebooted the machine. I am not staring a the startup screen with nothing happening. Can you help please.
