You could also use vmware guest tools to drag and drop documents between the host and guest. Also, does the LivePC have "LivePC documents" enabled? That allows you to share documents between a LivePC and the host, contrasted with "My Shared LivePC Documents" which allows you to share documents between multiple LivePCs and the host.
