How do I share a folder between LivePC and Windows XP Pro so I can install files into the LivePC XP Pro installation? Fri, 06 Apr 2007 13:19:41 -0700 The xpfromcd utility http://www.moka5.com/node/481#comment-528 The xpfromcd utility supports the Retail Windows XP or the Volume License version of Windows XP media. We are aware of this limitation when using OEM media. Sorry for the inconvience. We'll investigate to see if there are workarounds for you. You should be able to use the OEM media without using the xpfromcd util but of course the install will not be on a diet. Kevin Tue, 26 Dec 2006 13:53:21 -0800 winnt.sif permission denied http://www.moka5.com/node/481 I tried creating a virtual PC on an external drive and got the following message: "An error has occurred. Please contact moka5 support forum....etc...error message: Couldn't open H:\Documents and Settings\Cliff\Local Settings\Temp\FILES\I386\WINNT.SIF for writing: Permission denied" I looked and sure enough WINNT.SIF was read-only, so I unchecked that box and tried to restart the procedure. I then got a message that "Folder Path 'H:\Documents and Settings\Cliff\Local Settings\Temp\FILES' must not exist because it will be overwritten." Apparently changing WINNT.SIF to read-only won't help, so I gave up. Mon, 25 Dec 2006 23:49:21 -0800
