John Whaley
MokaFive CTO
Responsible for the technical vision of MokaFive. He holds a doctorate in computer science from Stanford University, where he made key contributions to the fields of program analysis, compilers, and virtual machines. He is the winner of numerous awards including the Arthur L. Samuel Thesis Award for Best Thesis at Stanford, and has worked at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Center and Tokyo Research Lab. John was named one of the top 15 programmers in the USA Computing Olympiad. He also holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from MIT and speaks fluent Japanese.
Michael Brunker
Enterprise Architect
Michael Brunker has worked across various segments of the IT industry in a career spanning almost 25 years. After starting his career as a programmer working in a large financial institution in Australia he moved into the area of desktop and e-mail design focusing on Windows based architectures. He has worked in Australia and the United Kingdom as a senior architect on the commoditisation of the client environment and in the area of IT security architecture. He is currently the Enterprise Security Architect within the global Enterprise Architecture team working for a major multi-national energy company.

Former CIO of Intuit, Yahoo, Lucent Technologies, Fidelity Investments, Redback Networks, Octel Communications and NeXT Computer. Managed groups of over 1,500 employees in over 50 countries with budget responsibility of over $1B. Successfully developed, acquired and implemented large company wide systems in many industries including high tech, financial services, media and retail. Track record as change agent in both large and small environments with experience in outsourcing on-shore and off-shore. Serving on several boards and advisory boards.
