Session: BYOD “Worst” Practices: How to fail at BYOD
Presenter: John Whaley, CTO

There are plenty of resources on “Best Practices” for implementing a successful BYOD program. But for some reason, there is not much information on what you can do to ensure your BYOD program is a complete and utter failure. Over the past several years, I’ve worked with many, many companies to implement BYOD programs for their employees and contractors, with varying levels of success. Based on my experiences, I’ve put together a set of “BYOD Worst Practices”. These are all the *wrong* things to do when implementing a BYOD program. Some are funny. Some are true. (Company names will be changed to protect the innocent and not-so-innocent.) Come share some of your own “Worst Practices” as well. Together, we can come up with a plan that will increase costs, eliminate productivity, add business risk, and increase employee frustration through the roof!
