QA Manager
We are looking for an outstanding QA Manager to grow and lead moka5's already outstanding QA and Build team. moka5 believes that QA is a high-value and integral part of the development process, not something that gets "tacked on" and time-compressed at the end. Come demonstrate how much value QA can add to an already great software development organization.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage and retain an outstanding QA team.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the QA team and to the rest of Engineering.
- Actively participate in the design and execution of moka5's product development process.
Required
- 2-10+ years experience as a QA Manager or Lead, or equivalent experience.
- First- or second-line management experience in a fast-moving rapid growth environment (most likely in a small company).
- Able to motivate and lead inter-personally and technically.
- Strong project management skills. Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivating.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to work hard and do what it takes - even if it's not in the job description. We are a start-up, after all.
Preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with virtualization.
- Experience with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac).
