Senior QA/Test Automation Engineer

moka5 is looking for a talented and ambitious QA/Test Automation engineer to join our high-powered team. We are a well-funded Silicon Valley startup creating the next generation of desktop virtualization products. The primary responsibilities of this position are the following:

• Develop test plan, execute the tests, work cross-functionally to communicate testing results and resolve issues.
• Design and create test scripts, test harnesses, programs, and/or drivers to run automated functional and regression tests.
• Automate application UI testing using UI-based tools.

Requirements/Skills:

• BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Several years of hands-on QA/Test Automation experience with commercial software.
• Solid experience in Shell, Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience testing on both Microsoft Windows and Lunix environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure within the confines of short testing cycles.
• Flexibility and agility are essential to this position.
